The Considerate Constructors Scheme has been supporting and driving positive change in the construction industry for the past three decades. We believe the industry must be underpinned by high standards, external accountability and public trust for the benefit of all.

We are an independently run, not-for-profit organisation working side-by-side with the construction industry and the public for the past three decades to raise standards and build trust in construction.
Through our Code of Considerate Practice, we provide guidance and support to the industry to help them become leaders in best practice, minimising the negative impacts on the surrounding communities, environment and workforce. We also have a Public Support Team, which helps handle concerns the public or workforce may have with construction activity.

Apply to be a Scheme Monitor
Monitors will support the construction industry in addressing the challenges it faces, particularly relating to public trust, community engagement, protection of the environment, carbon reduction and workforce wellbeing.
Being a Scheme Monitor offers flexibility and typically suits self-employed individuals and those returning to the workplace, looking for a role that can fit around existing commitments.
