Have your say: Ultra Site Registration Consultation

Ultra Site registrations were first introduced in 2018 to recognise the very best in construction. They were paused in 2024 to simplify our product suite. But since then, many of you have told us you miss the enhanced features and value they offered. We’ve listened. In response to your feedback, we’re proposing to bring back Ultra Site registration with the same high standards and the following added benefits in addition to standard site registration:

• Site monitoring conducted by our most experienced, specially trained monitors
• Annual review meeting and follow-up report
• Higher frequency monitoring visits (quarterly rather than six-monthly)
• Enhanced insights dashboard and supply chain data access
• Ultra Site-specific branding on site banners and posters
• Additional marketing opportunities across the CCS portfolio, including
  • featured case study on considerateconstructors.com
  • social media posts
  • video content co-creation
• A dedicated category at the National Site Awards.

We recommend that Ultra Site registration become mandatory for projects exceeding £100m and remain optional for projects over £25m. Ultra Sites will need to sign a Memorandum of Understanding, confirming their commitment to maintain the scheme’s standards across their entire supply chain.

The previous Ultra Site product included a leadership and culture survey module. As this module is no longer offered by CCS, it will not be part of Ultra Site registration.
