What are the benefits of being an Ultra Site?
Additional monitoring
- We provide Ultra Sites four site visits a year, where one of our most experienced site Monitors will assess your on-site activities against our Code of Considerate Practice, as well as your performance against the Ultra Site’s own objectives defined during our pre-start up meeting.
- You will receive a report detailing your site’s performance against the objectives of the Code of Considerate Practice and your own objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- If you’re a main contractor of an Ultra Site, you’re also able to see the monitoring reports for your sub-contractors and suppliers who are registered with the Scheme. This helps enable a collaborative, big-picture view of how your site is working to positively impact the community, environment and its workforce.
- You’ll receive a certificate of conformance (once this has been achieved) and you can track and manage your journey of improvement on the Insights Dashboard.

What happens at the initial advisory meeting?
During the advisory meeting, we discuss the commitments required and assess your suitability to become an Ultra Site. We can then establish proposals for subcontractor packages for the project and get an indication of the number of subcontractors and suppliers who will require monitoring.
You can also request additional advisory meetings before monitoring visits for an additional fee.
What are the requirements of an Ultra Site?
- As an Ultra Site, you commit to achieving a percentage of your supply chain spend being registered with the Scheme and to promoting the Scheme to your supply chain, proactively sharing information and best practice.
- We recommend that you undertake CLOCS self-assessments and register for CLOCS monitoring, demonstrating your commitment to the highest standards of road safety to protect the community. CLOCS is a national standard developed to help the construction industry take responsibility for health and safety beyond the construction site.
What is included in standard site registrations?
Monitoring
We provide a site visit by one of our Scheme Monitors for every six months of registration. During the monitoring visit, the Scheme Monitor assesses
how your site is performing against the Code of Considerate Practice.Â
You will receive a report which will outline your conformance with the three key sections of the Code of Considerate Practice (respect for the community, care for the environment and value the workforce) and identify opportunities to improve.Â
You will have access to the Insights Dashboard where you will be able to manage your considerate practice journey and track your performance.
Public Support
We have a dedicated Public Support team available to handle concerns/feedback from the public about construction activity registered with the Scheme.Â
You will receive a number of items showing the Scheme’s Public Support contact details which also display your Site Manager’s contact details. These include a public-facing banner and A1 poster to be displayed on all sites registered with the Scheme.
You will receive a Scheme registration logo to use for your registered site in accordance with our usage guidelines.

Fees
We require sites to be registered for the full contract period. The registration fee is determined by the site’s value in accordance with the table below.Â
Please note that if your project will be registered for more than one year, the registration fee will be based on the annualised contract value (the total contract value, split equally over the duration of the project), rather than the total project value.
