Recently, we brought our Partners together for a dedicated Partners Day - a valuable opportunity to step back, reflect, and focus on what comes next for the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
The conversations focused firmly on the future. Following a period of review and adjustment, CCS is moving forward with a clear, stable and future-focused direction. The emphasis is on strengthening our identity, improving how we use insight and data, deepening engagement across our partner community and investing in the tools and approaches needed to support responsible practice across the industry.
Evolving how we support good practice
We also explored how CCS continues to evolve the way good practice is recognised and supported. This includes developments aimed at making our frameworks clearer and more practical, improving consistency, and ensuring that site teams are supported through change in a way that feels proportionate and constructive.
Alongside this, there was strong interest in initiatives designed to deliver more tangible, everyday value for site teams and the wider supply chain - reinforcing the link between high standards, positive culture and real-world impact.
Insight into the wider industry landscape
The day also provided valuable perspective on the wider construction landscape, with insights into current market conditions and what lies ahead for the sector from Glenigan.

Stronger, clearer ways to engage
Another key theme was how CCS works with its partner community. Updates shared on partnership structures and pathways reflected a drive to make engagement clearer, more relevant and more impactful, recognising the diverse roles organisations play in shaping standards across the built environment.

Over the months ahead, CCS will continue to share updates, guidance and opportunities to get involved as developments progress. The direction is clear, the energy is positive, and we look forward to working closely with our partners as we move into 2026 and beyond.
