11th September 2025
This week, we gathered with our partners for Partners Day 2025 - a day that left us inspired, energised, and more determined than ever to drive positive change across the construction industry.
It was a day centred around listening, learning, celebrating, and looking ahead together with a shared commitment to building better standards for our workforce, communities, and  environment.
We were proud to introduce Desiree Blamey, our new Managing Director, who set the tone for the day by sharing her vision for the future of CCS. Desiree passionately emphasised the importance of collaboration, transparency, and innovation as we work side by side with our partners to raise the bar for considerate construction. Her message was clear: the future of our industry depends on what we achieve together.
Partners Day is also about recognising the organisations that have stood with us over the years, demonstrating that lasting change is built on long-term commitment.
This year, we were delighted to present longevity awards to:
We can’t thank our partners enough for their enduring commitment to shaping the future of the construction industry! Congratulations once again!
A defining moment of the day was the Women in Construction panel featuring:
This conversation was open, honest, and deeply thought-provoking. The panel explored the challenges women continue to face in the industry - from early attraction into construction careers to the ongoing challenge of retention.
But the discussion wasn’t just about problems; it focused on solutions. The panel emphasised the importance of embedding real, sustainable change - not as a box-ticking exercise, but as a genuine commitment to inclusion and equality. Sharing best practice, aligning social value with Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, and showcasing success stories were highlighted as powerful ways to inspire change and demonstrate that better outcomes are possible.  The message was clear: when we commit to retention, inclusion, and wellbeing, it’s not just talk - it drives realtransformation.
Beyond the panel, the day was filled with rich conversations around our Partner Survey, SME support, and updates to the Code of Practice. We explored the challenges facing the industry, but also the exciting opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and push for higher standards.

From discussions on data-driven insights and best practice sharing to future engagement programmes and new exciting launches, Partners Day was a reminder of the power of collective action.
The one clear takeaway was that when we come together, we have the power to transform our industry.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your openness, ideas, and commitment made the day truly inspiring. Here’s to continuing the conversations, acting on our shared ambitions, and shaping a construction industry we can all be proud of.

Together, we’re not just raising standards - we’re championing change.
