New Head of Partnerships joins Considerate Constructors Scheme

With over 15 years of experience across the public and private sectors, Sophia Dowokpor-James has built a career focused on partnership development and strategic communications. Her previous roles include leading partnership activity for Innovation Zero, the UK’s largest net zero congress, and senior positions at the Cabinet Office, where she worked on initiatives that encouraged inclusive growth and cross sector collaboration. Her experience and expertise in strategic relationships will be instrumental as we build deeper and stronger partnerships across the industry.

Sophia will be leading efforts to strengthen relationships and engagement across our partner network. She brings a strong background in strategic relationship building and stakeholder engagement, and will play an important role in enhancing how we collaborate and support our partners.

Speaking on her appointment, Sophia said:

"I'm delighted to have joined the business in September. I bring over 10 years of experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications across both public and private sectors. Most recently, I served as Head of Partners for the UK’s largest Net-Zero Congress, Innovation Zero and prior to that, I led partnership engagement at the Cabinet Office in the Commercial Capability team.
