Register an Organisation

Who can register as an organisation?

When registering an organisation, you can register as a main contractor, a sub-contractor or a supplier. Organisation Registration covers all of the work that you do as a sub-contractor or supplier and any sites with a duration of 12 weeks or less as a main contractor. If you are a sub-contractor and a main contractor, registering as a main contractor will cover your work as a sub-contractor as well.

Please note that Organisation Registration doesn’t count towards BREEAM.

Organisation Registration if you’re a main contractor:

You can register as a main contractor if you’re a contractor or joint venture. Registration covers all work undertaken as a sub-contractor and work undertaken as the main contractor on a site where the work duration is less than 12 weeks (any site duration over 12 weeks requires a Site Registration). Please note, if you are a main contractor whose turnover is less than £5m, sites with a duration of over 12 weeks are included in the Organisation Registration.

Organisation Registration if you’re a sub-contractor:

You can register as a sub-contractor if you provide a workforce to a main contractor, or you supply fixed rental equipment for which you provide on-site operation and maintenance.

If you’re a supplier:

You can register as a supplier if you provide materials or temporary hire equipment used by a site’s workforce.

What’s included in the Organisation Registration?

Monitoring

You will receive a policy-driven assessment and validation of your organisation’s systems and processes in relation to your role as a main contractor, sub-contractor or supplier.
You will receive a monitoring visit twice a year. From this, we will provide you with a report assessing your performance against the Code of Considerate Practice and highlighting areas for improvement.
You will have access to the Insights Dashboard where you will be able to manage your considerate practice journey and track your performance.

Public Support

We have a dedicated Public Support team available to handle concerns/feedback from the public about construction activity registered with the Scheme.
You’ll receive a registration poster showing the Scheme’s Public Support contact details and the registered Organisation's contact details, and a banner to be displayed at all depots registered with the Scheme (as a supplier).
You will receive the Scheme's Registered Organisation logo to use on your company website and other materials.

Additional benefits
