Project Highlights

The site team has worked proactively to demonstrate the site’s positive impact on the local community, environment, and workforce conditions. The scheme’s hoardings, posters and information are displayed prominently, and the team have been consistently utilising resources from the CCS Best Practice Hub to improve site standards. Security is excellent, featuring well-maintained hoardings, a security guard, and CCTV. The company holds an environmental management accreditation and encourages its subcontractors to operate to those standards. Welfare facilities are exceptional, with health, safety and wellbeing initiatives actively promoted, including a visiting nurse providing health checks and designated mental health champions. The site is a CLOCS initiative champion, operating to the required standards.

Innovations and Best Practices

The site team has consistently demonstrated innovation and commitment to innovation and best practices. They introduced a notable CCS-approved innovation with their “Pads for Dads” campaign, providing free period products and information, and introduced best practice Neurodiversity Training to enhance support for diverse individuals. These efforts promote inclusivity and community outreach.

Respecting the Community

This well-managed project reflects a strong commitment to community engagement. There has been consistent communication with locals, a designated notice board, and exemplary health, safety and traffic management plans (including CLOCS compliance). The site actively supports local organisations and engages with educational institutions to promote construction careers.

Caring for the Environment

The company’s dedication to environmental responsibility has been evident in its health and safety accreditations and rigorous environmental inspections. Sustainability is integrated into training, with ambitious targets, a commitment to carbon reduction and the prioritisation of electric plant and offsite manufacturing where possible. The facilities are designed with eco-friendliness in mind.

Valuing the Workforce

The site has also prioritised worker wellbeing with comprehensive health, safety, and traffic management plans, and the promotion of the “You Matter” safety and occupational health campaigns. Biometric recognition ensures security and there’s dedicated mental health support through trained first-aiders. The company’s commitment to its workforce is further emphasised by a comprehensive reward scheme ensuring everyone benefits.
