Sean Robinson, Mulalley and Company Ltd, for the initiative: “Mulalley Market Place – Reducing Waste, Adding Value”

A passionate environmentalist, Sean Robinson has been instrumental in helping Mulalley & Co maintain its carbon neutral status, consistently driving the company’s sustainability strategy to positively impact the environment and local communities. Working as Sustainability and Environmental Officer, Sean undertakes meticulous risk assessments and audits for every project, ensuring operations enhance biodiversity whilst reducing carbon emissions and waste. One of the many programmes Sean has driven is the Mulalley Marketplace initiative. Identifying an issue with excess materials onsite, Sean developed a marketplace platform to advertise unwanted and unused materials to community groups, colleges and charities. To date the marketplace has donated £25,000+ worth of items, which has helped protect the natural environment by minimising waste, delivering a positive and meaningful impact to community organisations in need.
