McLaughlin & Harvey Construction Ltd, Alexander Stadium Redevelopment for the initiative Communities Matter: You Matter Community Fund

‘You Matter Communities’ is an initiative developed by McLaughlin and Harvey (McL&H) at its Alexander Stadium Project to provide funding, in-kind materials and volunteer time to enable local community-led organisations to thrive. Partnering with 53 local community organisations, the initiative has supported projects including environmental-based schemes that engage with socially excluded people; sporting projects that increase access for marginalised groups; and mental health activities that address the negative impact of COVID-19. By working closely with its supply chain the company has smashed its target raising £44,000 in donations, £40,000 worth of in-kind construction materials and 669 hours of volunteer time to community organisations. Helping address local challenges and make a difference, McL&H have left a positive lasting legacy on the community and environment.
