Lane End Construction Ltd, New Road, Winsford for the initiative A quiet space to support mental health in the community

Committed to delivering social value in the areas they work, Lane End Group have recently completed a ‘Quiet Space’ project to support a post pandemic surge in young people struggling with mental health. Working with the Winsford Community Panel, Lane End Group were approached to create the space at the New Images Youth Centre, close to its New Road project. Lane End Group supplied the materials as a donation and its onsite team and subcontractors donated labour for free, creating a tranquil space and counselling room in the existing building. The newly created quiet space will facilitate mental health sessions, create a new revenue stream for the not-for-profit centre and has subsequently secured funding for a full-time counsellor.
