KpH Deconstruction Services Ltd, for the initiative: “Assisting underrepresented youth in construction”

Transforming lives and empowering young individuals from vulnerable and minority groups, KpH Deconstruction Services are proactively creating job opportunities to help bridge the skills gap in construction. Recognising the power of targeted education and training programs for underrepresented groups, who may have been overlooked or faced entry barriers, the company aims to provide the skills and knowledge to open up employment opportunities. The initiatives have offered guidance, mentorship and resources to organisations such as the Construction Youth Trust, SHiFT, and social mobility charity Career Ready. Creating a supportive environment to build trust and empower individuals to grow and succeed, the programme has broken down barriers and created a sustainable path for underrepresented young people to gain employment whilst meeting demands in construction.
