ISG Construction, Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg for the initiative Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg – Covid-19 education app

Helping construction site operatives navigate safely through the COVID pandemic, ISG developed a COVID-19 app with information and best practice for travelling to and from site, social distancing, cleaning, spotting symptoms and shielding. The app was quickly rolled out across the wider construction industry and adapted to support 60 schools, together with a physical resource pack containing signage and templates. Mitigating risk, the initiative has made a significant difference in helping reduce transmission, supporting the reopening of sites and schools in a covid secure environment, and creating a sense of collaboration in difficult times. It has also empowered stakeholders to learn new skills and adapt quickly to changing restrictions, allowing them to maintain safe workplaces and sustain community programmes throughout the pandemic.
