GRAHAM Construction, NHS Grampian, for the initiative: “Baird & ANCHOR Wellbeing Programme”

Putting its workers and their wellbeing at the heart of The Baird Family Hospital and ANCHOR Centre project, GRAHAM in partnership with NHS Grampian, launched an outreach programme to raise awareness of the health concerns of its workforce. Aiming to reach an audience that are typically reluctant to engage with healthcare professionals, the team compiled a health questionnaire to identify what health matters were most important. The areas of top concern formed the basis of a series of workshops and drop-in sessions. Newsletters and flyers promoted the initiative and a Wellbeing Booklet was created to signpost the resources available. The programme proved invaluable in helping employees manage their health issues, especially those working away from home, without a local support network.
