Elliott Building & Civil Engineering Ltd, HIO Peartree, for the initiative: “Oxford Community Engagement”

Committed to support the community and leave a lasting legacy, the Elliot Group began an extensive outreach programme to identify and tackle local needs around its site in Peartree, Oxfordshire. The hotel extension project was on the main road cut off from local communities, so the team began initiating contact with groups, charities, schools and businesses in the nearby area to understand their specific needs. The Elliot Group have helped fix a hazardous uneven floor in the community centre, provided a talk to a primary school and donated food to a local foodbank. By taking the time to listen to local requirements, the Elliott Group has built a strong relationship with the local community, and as the outreach programme continues, the team remain steadfast in their pledge to support.
