Dandara Living Contracting Limited, Stafford Yard, for the initiative: “Stafford Yard”

Dandra Living is proud to place communities at the heart of its developments, none more so than at the redevelopment of a former brownfield site in Bristol, Stafford Yard. Recognising the potential long-term positive outcomes the development could create for the community, a plan was generated to employ locally, engage with local suppliers, and support local organisations. To date Dandara has: employed over 80 people (20 direct/ 60 indirect); supported 1 apprentice; engaged with 16 local suppliers totalling £7m spend; and generated an estimated £2.6m of Social and Local Value supporting community initiatives. Stafford Yard will now act as a benchmark for future projects in creating a lasting positive legacy to its residents, the community and the overall regional economy.
